Wielding a weapon while flying. if you press any weapon button as you mount you'll hold any weapon/tool while mounted. Now if you could actually shoot that would be crazy. I do this all the time with my pike and sword b/c it looks cool lol. If you could actually shoot they would need to add sway or something.
You can do that in vanilla Ark, if you have a Tapejera. It's a bit tricky, but you can get on the front seat of the saddle, which allows you to use weapons, while whistling to control it. Or, if I'm not mistaken, you can use a decently leveled Argentavis to grab a tamed scorpion, and use it to hit the Quetzal mid-flight. It's a pain, but it works.ARK: Survival Evolved. It’s a cool flying base, but it doesn’t serve much purpose. The wyvern is a good utility flyer. It’s fast. It’s a great fighter. Level up it’s weight and you can carry a good bit (Argentavis is still the best for that due to weight reduction). It’s a solid flying mount. The argentavis is an absurdly useful mount on maps where you can ride them. They have a high carry weigh, can carry a creature in its claws, and very small creatures in its beak, and has further weight reductions on many basic materials. On top of all this, it has very good combat capabilities while ridden.
